10/5/2019-10/6/2019 one night Our first ever hike! All I remember is how cold and wet it was :( but it was an amazing hike and camping. We started from Wahtum lake through Waucoma Ridge and camped at Rainy Lake. Rainy Lake is also accessible by car and there were some car campers. 5/24/2020 I started at Bonnie Crossing Campsite (we parked there). My original plan was to go all the way to Badger Lake (11 miles out and back), but; 1) I was bone tired (do not go mt biking the day before your first backpacking trip of the season) 2) Badger Lake is accessible by car (a really rough road though), so I was worried that there might be many car campers (with generators...)
